Alissa Burgan – Miss Nigeria Arizona 2019

Alissa Burgan moved to Mexico with her family at an early age to do missions work. At age 13, she moved back to the United States and settled in Mesa, Arizona. She soon learned she has a passion for the arts. Alissa also learned that even though her missions work in Mexico was done, she still had a passion for helping those around her,specifically children. Alissa started volunteering at the dance school she attended teaching dance and mentoring the young dancers around her. Later, she went on to pursue a degree in dance education at Scottsdale Community College. She also performed in several plays and musical productions, further enhancing her skills and interest in the arts
